Upon entry you will be greeted by a grandiose 1865 lobby staircase, indicative of the Imperial Hotel’s elaborate architecture. Wander amid genuine antique furniture, including several impressive ornate mirrors and a Louis XIV mantelpiece clock.
During wedding celebrations, the staircase is decorated in a unique and attractive way. The hotel also features a new theatre-style, multi-purpose hall, suitable for conferences, seminars, banquets and other social occasions, involving up to 250 guests.
You can also sit and admire the view from the terraces or garden and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool. An elegant lounge and TV room is available, while live entertainment is offered in the lounge bar. A lift is in operation to all floors.

The Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Sliema, which is Malta's leading resort and is within a 10 minute walk of the seafront, shopping areas and open air cafes. Nearby attractions include: Chapel of Our Lady of Graces (300 metres) - situated next door to the hotel, this 200 year old chapel is believed to be the oldest in Sliema. St. Julian's Tower (500 metres) - this 16th century tower was built by the Knights of St. John. Fort Tigne (1.1 km) - built in 1792, this diamond shaped fort was the last of the island's defenses to be built.
