During wedding celebrations, the staircase is decorated in a unique and attractive way. The hotel also features a new theatre-style, multi-purpose hall, suitable for conferences, seminars, banquets and other social occasions, involving up to 250 guests. Nearby attractions include: Chapel of Our Lady of Graces (300 metres) - situated next door to the hotel, this 200 year old chapel is believed to be the oldest in Sliema. St. Julian's Tower (500 metres) - this 16th century tower was built by the Knights of St. John. Fort Tigne (1.1 km) - built in 1792, this diamond shaped fort was the last of the island's defenses to be built.
